She offers a broad range of skills - designing individual buildings, converting, altering and extending vernacular and historic buildings, along with specialist conservation work.

Nicki has been with Haigh Architects for over 10 years, and as a creative designer and conservation architect, she has delivered many award winning schemes. She offers a broad range of skills - designing individual buildings, converting, altering and extending vernacular and historic buildings, along with specialist conservation work.

Prior to her time with Haigh Architects, Nicki had gained considerable experience with nationally recognised architectural practices including Simpson and Brown in Edinburgh, Maguire and Murray in London, Robert Franklin in Oxford, Elaine Rigby Architects, Johnston and Wright in Cumbria. She has worked as Project Architect on such notable historic buildings as Lincoln Cathedral, Oxford University, many other listed churches, schools and interesting private houses in both town and country. New buildings range from Oxford’s Pembroke College to the recently completed "Levens Kitchen" at Levens Hall near Kendal.
