Planning and Listed Building Consents for St Anne's Almshouses Scheme

Planning and Listed Building Consent have been approved for the latest proposals at St Anne’s which is a Grade II* listed building. The Almshouses were endowed in 1650 by Lady Anne Clifford to provide for 12 single ladies with their own Chapel. The Trustees are now seeking funding for improving energy efficiency with breathable insulation and lime plaster, providing a communal heating system using a air source heat pump and upgrading internal facilities for the next generation.
